I have been using Comodo firewall for some time now. I  noticed that the firewall that I have is Comodo firewall, version 2.4, however on comodo's website, there is comodo internet security. There is an option to install just a firewall. My question is if you install just the firewall by itself, what version do you get?

G'day,

If you install just the firewall part of CIS, you'll get version 3.8.65951.477.

Cheers,

So if I wanted to upgrade, I would just uninstall the firewall that I have and download and install the newer version?

Yep - the order I would do it in is as follows;

1. Download CIS but do not install yet.
2. Temporarily disable your internet connection.
3. Uninstall old CFP
4. Reboot
5. Install CIS (still with internet connection disabled)
6. Reboot
7. Enable internet connection

Hope this helps,
Ewen :-)
