I can't access my universities internet.

Hi there

I recently downloaded and installed Comodo's firewall on windows vista, I can access the internet at my home but when I take my computer to my university I cannot access the internet. I have turned off Windows Vista firewall and I do not have any other security software running apart from avast antivirus which does not have a firewall.

I didn’t have any problems connecting to the universities internet when I was running mccafee security software; I uninstalled it when my subscription expired. I can connect to the universities local network, but from there I cannot connect to the internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to be on the safe side of things use this McAfee removal tool to make sure there are no traces left of it.

When the problem persists try disabling Block fragmented IP Datagrams[/ur] when you are at your university network.
