I was thinking of something like
Proactive Defense — System Status
Virus Denfense — Traffic
Network Defense — Higlights

Proactive Defense needs more space. Is Highligts needed at all?

If you look at your placement, well it doesn't make any sense at all. Highlights are there so i can't do anything about it. Unless they plan to remove it. Why exactly does Proactive Defense need more space? It's all nicely placed in that field.

COMODO is designing a totally new GUI, that will be both aesthetical and user friendly.  Wink

The Proactive Defense box is very tight, while Virus Defense and Network Defense have lots of empty space, and so does System Status. I want the Defenses equally treated. Wink

Hope we get to see it soon. The present UI is nothing but a poor rip from tornado5's Luna Element VS.

Embarrassed I'm sorry.. I just didn't want these guys to expend a load of effort on something that.. was not really relevant anymore. I did disclose as little as possible. Besides, I'm not in your group.. so you can't me throw me out. Grin

PS I think you may need to invite some others to your group. Smiley

I like current GUI basic design. It's nice and clean, it just has to be optimized a bit.
I see no reason to change GUI on each slightly bigger update. Maybe between CIS 3.x and CIS 4.x, but now i really don't see any need for that.

I do. The current GUI is nice, but a bit too cluttered. (especially for newbies) I remember when I first saw CFP 3, I though like - "Wow, there's so much to do, where do I even start ?"  Grin

COMODO is totally redesigning it for usability reasons, so it can be friendly to novices and power users.

I don't think it can be said any better than that.

Any dates on when we may see this new interface?

Nope. But I remember 3xist said something like 6 months in the development activities thread. I think that's more of a guess than an estimate.  Wink
