I like its low resources requirements and much less pop-ups compares with previous versions.
On the other hand, I hope it will have less FP and further expansion in the signiture database.

I would give comodo firewall pro a five, best ever. I would give anti virus a 3.5 however, i use avast home because comodo anti virus doesn't seem to have great detection. it is very good still though, not saying it is bad. i think we can improve on the features. maybe add some stuff.

are we looking at CIS 4.0?? just wondering. 3.8 is fantastic ty for the release!  comodosavedmylife Viva Comodo comodorocks comodojiggy Comodo Needs You Comodo Wants You Comodo Loves You ilovecomodo comodomarryme

The detection rate is increasing everyday. They usually add about 12,000 malware signatures a day. And Defense+ is better than any AV, if you know how to use it  Wink

I want more advanced options in the popups more than anything.  Like some registry settings (Policy/TrustedPeople or whatever) tend to cause multiple repeated popups.  Ideally for registry and folder type warnings, you could choose a parent key (perhaps several levels up) and allow that app access to everything under that reg recursively.  With folders it would be 'allow this app access to [choose a parent folder] and all subfolders.

In particular one app I use is Flex Builder, which uses eclipse that for some retarded reasons like to try to create a 'writeablearea#####.dll' each time it starts in the Programs folder to see if it is locked or not. Even tho it is dumb of eclipse/FB, it would be nice if there was a way to allow this always.

Also, some kind of search filter is an ABSOLUTE requirement on the Computer Policy dialogs and similar dialog.  Trying to find one application in a list of 200 is painful.

Fix the grid stretching so it works properly, adding a horizontal scroll bar if you want the fields to be larger.

Direct link from Firewall events to the rule that cause the event to appear there, so you could adjust if necessary.

Easy to access Post filter list for you to review all allows/blocks and change the setting if it was in error.

domain name listing/WHois lookup for all IP addresses (optional).

Full path listing of all DLL/EXE in popups, along with easy links to search engine for the name of the dll/exe.

Hmm that would go a long way.

Did you try executing any of the missed files to see if they'd be flagged up as malicious?
