CIS worked very well with ESET Nod 32 but since the last Matousec tests, I uninstalled it. Although ESET was fast I just didn't need it anymore.

Hi Guys,
We need some feedback from you as per your experience using CIS with other security products.
It will help us know how good or bad we are doing in this aspect.

I will highly appreciate your feedback on this.

Thanks

CIS is good.

However CIS is not able to detect Sality virus if present in the system.

I run Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit & Windows Xp Pro Sp3 32 Bit,

On both systems I have selected to install Firewall only,no AV,no Defense Plus etc.

Have Microsoft Security Essentials running on both systems,
No Problems.

- Windows 7 could not respond properly and required shutdown when avast! 4.8 trying to automatically update. However, update via menu works without the problem
- avast! tray icon could not display after the windows restart after program update to Build4.8.1368. However, not sure whether it is avast! incompatibility with (trial) Windows 7 or not. The problem could be fixed via windows restart
- a few file(s) modified/ used in avast! 4.8 automatic update could not be recognized by COMODO Firewall, e.g., avast.setup

avast! 4.8 Home Edition (Trial Evaluation)
