Will CIS v3.5.57173.439 update to this new "beta" once it's released? I have it installed on 5 of my friends computers and I would be really disappointed if I had to uninstall/reinstall Comodo on all of these systems again.

Secondly, is BOClean included in this new version?

It should upgrade to any new release, unless either the user denied the upgrade or for some reason we had to manually update (maybe because it would be such a big upgrade).

Current stable versions aren't updated to beta automatically, you would have to download and install it manually (unless you wait for the stable version to arrive - which should update .439 automatically).

As for BOClean I don't think it's included this time. They're still working on getting it incorporated (I may have misinterpreted Melih but that's what I think).

Thanks, that takes a load off my mind. I recently convinced my friends to dump Norton and switch over to CIS. I don't want to have to trouble them with frequent uninstalls/reinstalls. They don't mind the updates though. We all can wait for the stable update. I'm looking forward to the new features! Lips Sealed

I don't think BOClean will be in this release... Mods only found out a while ago, Atleast that's how I'm seeing it. They are working on it though.

Cheers,

I was confused. I heard all the talk about BoClean being added and I was wondering how COMODO would keep CIS as slim as it is now (since BoClean v5 has been put on hold). But no need to rush; Melih still has plenty of time to reach #1 security suite in one year. Tongue

I agree with you. :-) It's actually...

October 24/26ish was CIS Launch... Ummm...

Hmmm (2 min later)...

... 3 seconds later...

I will just say 9 months ! Smiley Let's hope Melih sticks by his promise...

I have promised that we will deliver one of world's best AVs (if not the best) to our users in 12 months (that was few months ago)

Cheers,
Josh

Hey Josh.. Just a personal request..  Please don't close this thread Smiley   CIS will keep developing in the future and so too will the discussions! instead of having more and more threads starting up perhaps just leave this one open? Smiley

Will the VE be added into cis? Or is that going to stay as a standalone?

Will be possible to disable BOClean in CIS?

Will use the same CPU usage as BOClean, or this will be improved?

Any chance this beta will have support for Windows 7 public beta?
