Jeremy: Inappropriate rule quoting. Stop that.

Sorry, first I was trying to backup my point, second from eXPerience it seemed it wasn't too good to talk about things like this.

No problem in discussing a leak I think, as long as no links are posted and probably a few other aspects are considered. However, this is still off topic in this thread. Here we discuss the future of CIS!

LA

Alright.

Who cares if they rush beta. Not rushing public final versions is one thing, but rushing betas is no biggie really.

I want to try it out, and I don't like to try out buggy versions. Smiley

I would have to disagree. (nothing to do with if it is a public or private beta though). What's the point in a sloppy beta if the bugs still needs to be fixed in future updates/the final release. A more stable beta means it will be in beta for less time.

I'm trying really hard to patch up those leaks....I just didn't think that quoting the forum policy was against the rules.  I guess only mods and admins should do that.  (Just trying to keep other members from going down my path.  Cry )

I thought leaking applied to seniors with bladder problems.

Hmmm.....(Xman, you should know this too Cheesy)

Serious Bladder problems, I don't wana know.

Hey Josh.. Just a personal request..  Please don't close this thread Smiley   CIS will keep developing in the future and so too will the discussions! instead of having more and more threads starting up perhaps just leave this one open? Smiley

How can I ignore you Kyle? Smiley

Cheers,
Josh

I do not mind buggy betas.  I have been using Win7 for over a month, and will probably continue to do so until the final is released.

I hope Comodo either releases some screen shots, or lets the beta rip.

Well as was said earlier the beta has been completed already so they aren't going to be rushing out a beta but they are working to move the signatures to the new format. So need need to worry much about rushing a buggy beta version.

Support for new OS is a feature in some way. Anyway, public beta should be released today evening. It's not a big deall, really, it'll be just nice installing CIS without Vista Compatibility Mode and without error, when trying to chceck program updates, that's all.

Yes indeed, I pointed out that earlier, however leaking on the net is not on topic:

No problem, support for W7 is a part of it (not off topic), just W7 leaks is off topic. Smiley

I was, in the post you originally quoted. Thus I didn't see you change tracks.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Let's just keep to CIS (including W7 support).

Agreed. And thanks. Kewl

P.S.: It will be nice to include support for W7 in other Comodo products as well. Wink
