Right click scans are quicker BUT on demend and scheduled scans are slower, it's quite a weird thing to be honest. So in effect the right click scans are much faster everything else scan wise is really really REALLY slow.

I agree, the manual and scheduled scans are slower now, about 20% slower by my calculations.

Could any of you report this in the AV bug board?

I guess this wasn't fixed in this update, or was it?

I run Windows Vista Home Premium 64 OS, SP1.

After installing Comodo AV & FW my BlueRay player stopped working.
When the program is uninstalled the player begins to work again.
When the Defender + is completly disabled the player works as well, if the Detect shell code injection is OFF.

My computer is a HP Notebook HDX 16 1200eo
My BlueRay hardware is: HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW CT10L ATA Device
Software: HPDVDSmart.exe (v. 2.1.1.2328)
DVDAgent.exe (v- 5.0.0.0)
VMPlayer.exe (v. 11.0.6001.7000)

Please report your bug, as described here, in the appropriate bug board when you want it to be noticed.

I have already done that July 30th.

https://forums.comodo.com/other_general_gui_etc_bugs/comodo_internet_security_310102363531_bug_reports-t42039.210.html

I also posted about it here a couple of days before that.

https://forums.comodo.com/feedbackcommentsannouncementsnews_cis/confirmed_conflict_of_software-t43347.0.html;msg314593

With that reply I take it, it haven't been implemented/fixed in the new version.

Today Comodo says updates are available, i don't use AV module, hence that probably should be version update?  I don't see any version above current 3.12  Huh
So....Does anyone know what updates are available currently and what changelog?

I think this is a bug I get it now and again as well. Not sure what triggers it but now I X it and then check manually about an hour later to be, "told no updates available."

My CFWD+ is not affected by this bug and never was.  I remember similar "update" last time for v3.11, but it was revoked very fast.

I have never gotten an update alert except when there actually was one to be had.

A new weird bug has been discovered :
For unknown reasons, cmdagent.exe is using all CPU sometimes and it freeze the computer without making any fatal error.
Safe Mode is not running also, the only way to get rid of it is to kill cmdagent.exe but we can't do it ^^
So, the only way is to wait and trying to launch the uninstaller of Comodo with C-Cleaner, and after about 1h, then cmdagent.exe is closed and you recover your computer.

Happened twice on my system.
Once after just an upgrade from 3.11 to 3.12.
Next after a full fresh install of 3.12.
It doesn't occur after the installation, but after a while, many days, Comodo want to show up a Window but he is in troubles and then he start using 100% CPU for a minute then you see the window, after answered you recover your computer. But in some cases, you will never see that window and your computer is almost frozen.

I'm using Windows 7 RTM 7600.
Note, this never happened before, only with 3.12xxx560.

I'm not sure if it is exactly the same thing but sounds like it.

It doesn't look like it. According to egemen:
The fix will be available with the next planned release which is CIS v4 as of today.

Thanks,
Egemen
We are expecting a beta release of v4 late December. So I guess there will be no more bug fixes in the 3.1x branch unless stated otherwise by Comodo staff.
