Was that on a testing PC?  Because there might have been something else which escaped notice...

I don't have a Testing Machine anymore. That was on my Personal/Production Pc as... my Testing Machine also.
I run SAS and MAM after CIS Kill does Malwares but no Traces and I'm sure, USB FLASH DRIVE of my Friend is ZERO Malwares.

CIS is very impressive in did...

My Friend Scan his USB FLASH DRIVE using AVIRA on his Pc after I Scan and No traces of Malwares anymore. that conclude us that CIS is Really Good.

And is going to get better! Cant wait for heuristics!!! Definitions are coming out really fast also!!

I agree with U. CIS is really good. I have a friend using kaspersky 2009 and he does not believe in D+ and prevention. I showed him that Kaspersky is implementing a similar Defense mechanism. When he saw it, he intermediately moved to CIS because of the complete explanation given out by D+ and the firewall!!!!

This proves it! COMODO RULZ!!!!   (R) (R) (R)

Must admit detection is running higher at the moment. Let's all keep sending in the samples

I keep sending the trojan downloaders from a some Russian porn sites I found a few days ago.  Hey, I am all about helping Comodo.  Cheesy

Close to 20 samples in 4 or 5 days. Mind you, there are only 4 "basic" versions, but these seem to be (are) modified regularly. So, an AV can detect one, but miss the updated vesions (that's what's happening at the moment with CIS). Hopefully the coming heuristics feature can tackle these "tricks" by the bad guys.

CAVS growth is too fast!

I have some doubts about CIS built-in file submission system. It's work? Some samples I was sent didn't go to sig updates... And others that I was sent by malwaresubmit[at]avlab.comodo.com was released past week...

Good job Comodo AV team. Waiting for BOClean integration and CAVS engine optimizations... Keep walking COMODO

I think the detection is fairly good now, but I've read some reviews that say that you need to improve on your AV engine, because it has a hard time removing malware.
