Guys...

We "hopefully" and *"expect" things to happen. We need to take this into consideration. It's not like we are all paying for CIS & CAV, Are we?

It will be released when ready... and by the way the Comodo Automatic Malware Analysis thing is TRUE. But still... I agree, Better to say nothing... Sorry Guys.

Cheers,
Josh

What is CIS exactly?
Internet Security Comodo Style?
Will that include most of/all the products in one?
Is there anymore info on this?

Thanks

CIS is Comodo Internet Security Suite. At first, it will include Comodo Firewall Pro 3 and CAVS 3, Afterwards it will include Comodo memory firewall too (I think). By the way, BOClean will be integrate with CAVS 3, so you have 3 products inside.

If it includes the most recent CFP it will probably have memory firewall (I'm guessing optional)?

If you mean about the toolbar, it's only protects for browsers. CMF protects the whole computer.

Sounds good, I absolutely love Comodo Firewall Pro 3 - considering purchasing Comodo Firewall Pro 3 Plus but want to check the comparison charts or from users who've used it.

This raises a question for me.  Last time I used BOClean I noticed it was starting to gain weight  (used about 18meg).  I have heard CAVS3 is supposed to be very light weight.  I do not know how that will be possible if it includes BOClean.

Well... I am not CAVS 3 nor BOclean developer so I don't know how it works... We will see how many MB it will uses. No matter how many it uses, it will be great product and the system resources worth it.

I remember I have tested BOtest with Comodo SafeSurf and it protected the system against it.

Yes, I did it too. And I asked the same question, but no one answered...

Great.  I tried one of the "A's" over the weekend and it used about 50 meg of ram.  I quickly uninstalled it.

Spybot uses 50 MB ram and additional 50 MB in the virtual memory size!!! I uninstalled it immediately. I don't care it uses so many MB, but, still, it doesn't the "best" program on the internet.

Hi all,

We have decided to lock this thread since the mods agree on: "People are asking the same questions over and over again and they're being consistently answered in the same way" (quoting psych1610).

You all know that CIS and CAV 3 arrives when they are ready. When are they ready? Here are some interesting quotes from pages 21-25:

I think this coming week, CIS will be borne and will be shared with a select few. Mainly our mods Smiley We want to give it a little more QA before we can beta it. We want to QA it for another week or two before a public beta.

thank you for your understanding.

Melih

Hi Guys,

Another piece of the puzzle for CAV3 is a neat tool called Comodo Automatic Malware Analysis System, What it does that suspicious files gets submited through this, and through to the AV Labs for unknown/known malware, and it will be added to the signature database! Very nice tool indeed. This Tool will be dealing with nasties in an automated way!! Smiley

There is no Free Internet Security Suite out there and Comodo's will be the first one and the beauty is that both Firewall and AV are totally architected, designed and coded to work together in harmony! Using latest technologies/techniques available which makes CIS a bloody efficient yet very effective product in fighting malware!

So Comodo Automatic Malware Analysis System & CAV 3 will be in QA for about 1 or 2 more weeks, Then a public beta for around 2-3 weeks, Then a production release.

That's the update so far guys... CAMAS is a nice tool!

Thanks for you're patience. Smiley

QA is in progress (will be soon)... So in around 2 weeks we should have a quick public beta.

Cheers,
Josh

So now we are very close. You are welcome to speculate and discuss CAV in other aspects, but we feel that there's nothing more to discuss regarding the release date. Thread locked! Smiley Mod Star

Thanks,
