 Wave Wave Wave

I have an on-access scanner improvement suggestion: The on access scanner should view the number of scanned files and the actually scanned file (similar nod32).

 Wave Wave Wave

Thanks

ooops, i've post in a wrong place again, i have a wish for CAV: add an option on CAVS/HIPS to manually add a suspected file to virus database (and ofcourse an option to submit it to comodo).

I would like to suggest Password protection to keep other people from changing your settings on Comodo Antispyware.

Hi,

BOC will indeed be integrated into CAVS before its final release. However CMG will be integrated into the firewall not the antivirus.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not in this thread, but Comodo Anti-Virus needs to have Rootkit detection in it to catch up with the other big boys in the anti-virus field seriously. Viva Comodo

No doubt about:
- HIPS (appears too much),
- Turn OFF options aren't enabled,
- CA Anti-Virus is a good program that CAVS can to look at design, minimum usage of memory, nice process to install and uninstall, actualize the Antivirus with many frequency.
- Terminate some programs at task manager.

Dear all,

>Comodo AV have to support "Switch user" in XP.

>HIPS app control make system very unstable after installing so there must be a option to disable it before installation.

>Decreases memory usage. In my 256 MB RAM it takes much.

>Needs More clear discription in help file on security it provide against what kind of threats

>I suggest all Comodo products Firewall, AV, BO clean anti spam made availabe in one programme as "internet Security Suit"

>Needs password protection.

>It is not clear in help file that it can protect against adware like "When U save now" etc

Over all it's great AV available free with all features of expensive pro products.

My wishlist, I think it is very important

1) Don't cycle mind on signature detecting.
Develop another methods of malware detection. Analyse suspicious events
and combined heuristics methods - sandbox, emulator and other..
Detect families of viruses.
2) Support for more archivers , PE-packers and cryptors
3) More advanced HIPS, like Defence+ in CPF 3.0
4) Small updates for signatures, like in Kaspersky AV - incremental updates
5) New component - Web AntiVirus - for detection of web-exploits and prevent user before downloading malware on his computer
6) Autorun total control. Windows has many places in registry for autostart (and often malware uses this). See http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/Utilities/AutoRuns.mspx
7) rootkits detection and disinfection - this dangerous problem for all antiviruses.
8 ) New component - AntiSpyware, guard for user's passwords (IM clients, FTP clients, game accounts, browser's saved passwords and other..) and other confidential data, guard for browsers components (addons. HiJacks...)

Sorry for my English.

Hello,

anybody who uses a Mail Provider who only allow to connect via SSl there will have a problem. So i can forget the Mail Antivirus feature because googlemail allows only connecting vis SSL so that comodo is not able to scan the in and outgoing emails. It would be nice if Comodo Antivirus can scann Virus via SSL Conections too.
