Hi Melih Smiley

What detection rate do you expect Huh  SSUpdater.com hase recently tested the current Comodo Antivirus BETA - 74.43% , what means it would have been improved for +/- 25% for the 2nd year in a row Smiley Personaly I think this is a realistic expectation, and very hopefull for the future too Smiley

Well, the testing methods work by the tester testing against the malware they have. The problem is: these testers might not have the full malware library or what they have might be outdated etc. Hence its difficult to measure exactly the detection ratio. Afterall, how will these testing orgs know the latest malware? Whereas we at Comodo have over 50,000 files submitted to us on daily basis and we identify some brand new malware that noone is able to detect from these submittals. So in my view the success of AV should be two fold,

1)how much of the old ones it detects
2)how much of the uknown ones it detects (uknown to others) (imagine if you are the only AV detecting a specific malware, that would be the power)

We are gearing ourselves towards achieving both!

Yup Smiley But I remember a post on Wilders almost 2 years ago, that Comodo would never have a better detection than Kaspersky. Tell me if I am wrong : But I think you remember that post too, and you have decided than you would prove them otherwise, and you are still determent to prove that Smiley
