I think you should kind of do what Outpost did and have plug in architecture.  Make these plug ins available, but not installed by default.  So those that want a light firewall can have the default firewall, and those that want a more robust centralized security solution they can install the plug ins they want.

I also think there should be antivirus / antispyware integration.

For the fans of CAVS, there could be a plug in for the file scanner.  Of course that is optional.

DNS Resolution a plugin?? That should be built-in, not plugin!
Whois a plugin, yep. IP blocker, e.g. loading a list of hosts to block, sure; parental controls, knowing parents with children that have a pc with several user accounts, would require some sort of plug to the logged in user at best.
Cookies,Referrers,Ads Blocker... browsers have that control, e.g. AdBlock Plus in Mozilla (loadable blocklist) cookie control can be set in any browser, accept them or not, session only or permanent; referrers the same. Idem dito for Popup blockers.
HTTP Logs, I can understand the reason for it, very, very few people go through what HTTP data got logged, in a 'case of' maybe, yet, timeconsuming and too frustrating to work with. And spyware or whatever other badware would be very interested in the content of these.
AntiDialer? Don't these come from 'known' sites for one, blockable IP's, like porn sites? Also, in other terms one could call these antitrojan or antimalware or antispyware or anticrapware or antibloatware. A firewall can indeed block this out when filtering what goes out/comes in.

Agreed 150% Thumb Up

After all, some remote sites may change their IP addresses from time to time, or get different ones depending on circumstances, while retaining their symbolic name. One case in point is "www.symantec.com", which will resolve to different servers based on your location. And there are many others like that.

Folks [ at ] phoenixlabs are working on PG3 which they say will be signed, and working for Vista 64-bit! So hopefully one of the two of you get it right. Personally it would be nice to see a collaboration with pg3 integrated into Comodo.

Well, nice to see this  Love

Ok, here are my votes

1. Plugin for Controlling the cookies, the referrer, and the advertisments on the pages

2. Plugin for IP blocking. Something like the opensource peerguardian or a similar fast and lite ipblocker  I MARK this the MOST this one because it will be a IMPORTANT plugin for EVERYONE!

3. Plugin for DNS resolution of the internet adresses.

4. Plugin for finding who is the attacker.

5. Plugin for blocking popups

Thats it's!!

Bye, MerolaC

Yes and Yes please referrer, ads, tracing cookies anti-dialer and whois and ip blocker are absolute welcome because there are too many garbage on the internet and we can't disable because Comodo firewall 3.0 lacks privacy of there valuable users and if i must paid so what defense is defense and without these plugins the firewall is not complete.
