Acronis does this regularly as a promotion to hook you on their product and get you to upgrade for more convenience later.  I don't think this version runs on Vista, though?   Current offer is at http://www.megaleecher.net/Acronis_True_Image_Serial.  Disk imaging can be an important part of maintaining security.  It creates a backup of your entire disk, so if you make a mistake and get infected you can go back to the last known good configuration easily.  Or if you just plain hose your system with one of the Comodo quirks while beta testing or otherwise.  Wink   Clapping

I don't think this version supports Vista-you can check their forum http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65 .  I use v10.

Hey folks. Try freeware alternative: DriveImage XML. Tested on my VM. Works great. Some tutorial about using it.

Best to use in conjunction with GParted Live CD. Now we have freeware programs to create images from partitions and re-partition drives, convert file systems, resize drives etc.

i'd used ATI 10 without a prob. But wth is goin on with this 8 free version? Startup recovery couldn't run; my 10 GB secure zone couldn't be restored by any means, any programs ?!?
I'm now having less 10 GB disk space than it actually is. Have to wait until next time I reinstall XP..
