What do you mean with command line? The path of the executable is already there...

What version are you using?  V3.0.15.277 shows PID on my system.  Also, you can right-click any entry and get a menu for Full Path/Terminate/Terminate and Quarantine.  Process properties would refer to the properties for the file?  That is not available from the Active Process list - you would have to use Explorer to check that.

That pic represents the Firewall's Activate Connections, which doesn't include the PID like Defense+'s Process List.

1, Allow settings some direktories as always untrusted/trusted;
For example "in safe pc mode" I don't want to classify temporary files, files in the recycle bin and system restore files all the time.

It is confusing with the global firewall rules, should they be applied before or after application rules?

1- Instaed of current default Clean PC Mode, I will much prefer it to scan my C partition/ drive and then to make all scanned exe trusted on the base of MD5 check sum and then to give alerts for all new executables and exes with modified MD5/ SHA1 hash.

That,s the better way to go. I like to have an option to turn off file defence completely without much compromizing the security.

2- Also I like it to check any applications trying for outbound network connection with an MD5 or SHA1 hash, in simple FW mode( without Defence +).

Hi Israel -  If you open the CFP interface, there are two ways to view the traffic.  First is from the Summary page.  On the right side of the page is a box labeled Traffic.  If you click on any of the underlined entries, the Active Connections window opens.  It lists the program, protocol, IP addresses and ports for source and destination of the connection and the bytes In/Out.  You can also right-click on any connection and choose to either expand the application's path (to show where it resides on the hard drive) or terminate the connection.  This same window is found on the Firewall>Common Tasks>View Active Connections page.  This is not, I admit, available from the tray icon, but it does give you much more control and information than a traffic meter.

I would very much like to be able to allow programs based on the actual content of the file and not just its name and location. Some programs have to be run from CDs. I normally want to  block all exes from removable disks. It would good be able able to allow a selections and know they are the correct programs. This would then allow an enforced restriction with exceptions.

If I set a parameter for filtering entries in Firewall Log Viewer, it should ignore those entries from the list, rather than ignoring all other entry. For example if I want to view all UDP and TCP actions but ICMP, I have to filter UDP (or TCP) first, and then apply a new filter on TCP (or UDP) to view them.

With my idea I could use the filtering on ICMP entries, and I could view only TCP and UDP at the same time.

Also more filters at the same time would be great, so I could ignore more unnecessary entries with different filtering parameters.

Cheers

I have one main request, and it's wrt to the interface, as opposed to security features.

Please make the application keyboard friendly.

By this I simply mean that the user should never be forced to reach for the mouse when dealing with the security popups, or when configuring the application, under any condition, and they should be able to do what they want with minimal keystrokes, and really should not have to move their hands far from the "home row" position.

This is for health reasons as well as efficiency reasons, and would doubtless please a lot of users.

Paraselene.

you're right israel, Comodo firewall doesn't offer that. No big deal, you can always get the info from Windows XP or Vista tasks managers, or even a gadget or widget or whatever in Vista or Google sidebar.
