Thank you for a product that was so good I could cut the cord to expensive "pro" programs, 5 or 6, get rid of the amateur bug artiste's, programs that cause damage.

I was one of the first users and it was worth the time to when I finally let go and destroyed all these utilities.  Comodo Pro Firewall is the first line of defense with two very small footprint programs guarding my precious data.

Thank you so much, after 12 years I don't have to run utilities for 8-10 hours a day.

Avast free, nothing more.
Yep, it made almost the bottom line of Matousec's line up, 5% protection and below.

Same here. With only change being addition of Vista x64's SP1 (and this 22.349 update). First thought that as I have couple times patched version, something got messed over time, so un-installed and installed new fresh version, no change.

Symptoms: program screen lacks vista's screen borders, "minimize-resize-close" buttons are invisible, text areas background colour don't match with screens background. This affects only the main program screen, if I open any firewall/defence+/misc link, those screens are shown almost correctly (borders are visible but text backgrounds are still messed). Firewall itself seems to be working as usuall, though.

Same system here, and same result: the GUI is not displayed properly, with the title bar sometimes disappearing.

OK. Could someone give a confirmation if this indeed is a 64-bit version bug and it's going to be fixed [soon]? As said, this appears to be only styles/theme issue, firewall itself working as usuall.

Hi everybody, I've just updated to version 3.0.22.349 and since then my pc slows down during file copies (cmdagent.exe takes 50% my a dual core cpu)
I'm running WIN XP+SP2 and Comodo with Defense+ disabled (I only use the firewall), and this happened while I was copying a folder contained in a 7zip archive to another folder on my filesystem.
The process slows down during the copy that 7zip makes to %TEMP and during the copy from %TEMP to the destination folder too.
As soon as the copy process has finished, everything is fine again.
For now I've downgraded to .31.329

Thanky you anyway for this great firewall

PS: I've discovered this problem by copying the folder contained in the 7zip archive of vlc's latest version (0.8.6f, download HERE

Chose the update option, flawless execution.
In fact, flawless update for the last 4 releases.
Of course, I only perform updates on one box; the others get full uninstall/reinstall.
However, full uninstall/reinstall has been flawless for the other 4 workstations, again for the last 4 or more releases.
These five boxen all have COMPLETELY different hardware configurations from dual PIII to Core2 Duo, and somewhat dissimilar software configurations, yet they all have had flawless uninstall/reinstall events.
As much as I would like to assist those with "show-stopping" problems, many requests for help leave me scratching my head!

Maybe it is best that I chose the route of remaining in the shadows than responding with something akin to:
"Did you RTFM??!!"

Hi andrea.ippo

I don't think I can replicate this. I've tried copying/extracting the VLC 7z archive (or its contents) to different drives & computers without it being noticeably slow. But, I don't understand what the %TEMP bit is about.. do you mean by specifying the %temp string in your archiver app on an extract? If so, which app is it?

Installed CFP_3.0.22.349 from scratch; everything running smooth so far.
No more conflicts with Terminal services – long initialization FIXED!

Good - because I used the internal updater and still get this 5 min initialization due to disabled Terminals Services.  I'll try the clean install later on.  I generally install from fresh, especially with firewalls, but it's a long, tedious way to have to manually set up rules if each new version brings upgraded default Defense+ rules and importing my own would mean the lack of these upgraded rules...

Rules and protected resources in 3.0.22.349 are same as of 3.0.21.329 if anybody interested Wink
