Can I use CAVS2 in a commercial environment?
Unlike most other anti malware products, Comodo Anti-virus/Anti-spyware (CAVS2) is released totally free for both private and commercial use. There are no license fees, nor are there any on-going maintenance or subscription costs. It's free, for life.
Having said that, CAVS2 (as at June 22nd, 2007) is still a beta release. As such, we do not recommend it's use in a production environment, or on any system containing sensitive or non-reproducible data.
Beta software should only be used on the understanding that there may be bugs that could affect data integrity and/or system stability. This doesn't mean it will happen, just that it may.
Beta software should only be installed by users who are cognizant of the risk inherent in running such software.
