Dear Beta Tester,

We are happy to inform you the Endpoint Security Manager 2.1 Business Edition Beta is now available for download!

Notable features in this version are:
  1. Ability to edit CIS configuration from ESM Console through policies.
  2. Antivirus updates caching proxy, which minimizes Internet traffic and allows updating CIS endpoints without necessity to be connected to the Internet.
  3. Updates manager, which allows the user to be informed about latest CIS updates and to keep endpoints up-to-date.
  4. Better CIS operations interactivity in ESM Console (will become available with next CIS release):
  • Antivirus scan progress indication
  • Virus database update progress indication
 5. Ability to download Agent setup with the latest version of CIS embedded into the package.

Endpoint Security Manager 2.1 Business Edition Beta is provided with a built in license for 100 endpoints/30 days. Please do not install this Beta version over your release version so that your current license not to be overwritten.

ESM 2.1 BE Beta Web (light weight) installer:

Clearing the program data and reinstalling solved my problem.

although I have CIS 5.10 installed on my system, when I try to add this computer through ESM, instead of identifying the existing CIS installation it is trying to install CIS 5.9 (Old version). Why is ESM still having CIS 5.9 in it's references?

CIS 5.10 version that was released in March didn't contain any changes related to ESM. So we decided to release this beta version with the previous CIS version. A new CIS version, which is coming soon, will contain support of Antivirus operation progress and can be downloaded through Updates Manager (when becomes available).

By the way, does the CIS version you're using work well with ESM 2.1 beta? Please let us know if you experience any issues. Thank you!
