Anti-malware database torrent download

CIS could use an integrated torrent client to download the anti-malware database and one could opt-in to this feature to seed it to everyone. Download speed would be faster and the download would be resumable.

I don't know if there would be security issues with this.

I think most people would be a little leery of an AV database served from a torrent.

PS:
AFAIK The link on this page supports resuming downloads for using download managers etc.
For people with sketchy connections and what not.
