Differences: CIS 2011 "Premium", "Plus", "Pro" and "Complete"

There are a number of users who question the difference between these 4 versions of CIS... I would just like to explain the differences so those who do question have a better understanding.

There is no STRIPPED down versions unlike other Vendors where they may limit the functionality of their "free versions" compared to their "paid versions" - Example: Other Vendors might not give you sandbox, or limit the functionality of the antivirus or antimalware component etc.

Comodo Internet Security... Code base of Suite functionality, security features, are all equal (Firewall, Defense+, Sandbox, Antivirus) - all the security features of CIS in all 4 versions are the same. However, you can buy the extra services if you wish too (Live PC Support, $500 virus free guarantee, online backup and ID Theft Protection) which are the only differences between CIS Premium and CIS Plus/Pro/Complete.

For the time being, it's only available in US... I don't know when it will change though... Melih can answer your question though (I PMed him to be aware of this thread).

Online BackUp, does the individual package allow for more than the incorporated one?

Live PC Support, same questionas above?

Trust Connect what is the difference between the individual package and the incorporated version.  I believe I read that it was a larger download per month but forgot how much, and if there was anything else?

Several that are running or going to be running Comodo Complete, may want to take advantage of increased benefits of one or two of those features, IF there is a difference?

Online Backup, livepcsupport are all the same... in both pro and complete version. I think TrustConnect does have more bandwidth... not sure exactly how much.

And your right... security feature wise... in ALL versions of CIS... they are the same and complete... this is why this thread was made so people arent confused. You can buy if you want, if you want that live pc support etc....

Knew there was some difference between The Trust Connect package and Trust Connect found in Comodo Complete.  Just did not know how much and if it was significant?

Was not sure of Online BackUP, because there could have been a difference on HD Space allowed.

the free one is ad supported.
we don't limit the bandwidth..its just ad supported..
