I clicked on Diagnostics / system information and got the microsoft bug - need to close CSC, each time I clicked on it same thing.

Launching (from the CSC GUI) and using (as I go to Desktop -> Boot, Logon and Wallpaper) Comodo Visual Styler wil generate the message "CreateDevice - Failed".

- How you tried to resolve the problem;
Can't resolve it, I accept the message by clicking OK.

- Screen-shots with the error (if any);
If necessary please ask me.

- Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any;
None.

- Any other Additional Information;

I consider this a bug, because it can damage to a system.

Fix the "unsafe entries" issue...it will avoid a lot of confusion and prevent people from damaging their system.
See this post in this thread thread for details.

Out of all the posts about this, I have not seen one good reason to keep it the way it is. But I have seen several good reasons to make it more descriptive and clear.

Also, loading of start up items is very slow.

Windows XP SP3 32 bit

Could you please post the contents of the value Version at this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX.And a screenshot,so that the wallpaper of the desktop and the CVS application will be visible.

Unfortunately, This bug still exists even though in this RC it has been fixed:

Re the above known issue, Is this issue related to it?

I had to reformat my VM because of this nasty error after cleaning Privacy & Applications (All). Maybe this is similar. Couldn't boot at all.

Windows XP SP3. And yes... It was in VM. Production is fine. I had to use my camera to take a picture of the error, I think either the Privacy Cleaner or Application Cleaner when I cleaned utorrent and the rest wipped out alot of shell32's. Anyway pic below, Hope it helps!

Ran on: VMware Workstation, XP SP3.
No software besides Comodo System Cleaner was installed on it... And as soon as I rebooted the VM, Error message appeared.

Why CSC Privacy Cleaner deletes Opera Profile folder? It includes bookmarks, wand passwords, speeddial pages etc
Privacy Cleaner should clean cookies etc but not the profile...

Private data for Opera will be separated in categories in a future release, so you can select what to delete .

Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce this error on our test computers.Are you sure that the system you are testing on is an official XP SP3 and is not running on a virtual machine?

Repairing files, doesn't do anything after it asks you if you want to close the app to fix them. then it doesn't even close the app. i tried it a couple of times until i got this:

Hello,
Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce this error on our test computers.Are you sure that the system you are testing on is an official XP SP3 and is not running on a virtual machine?

That's strange, yes it's a fully official and patched XP SP3 (not nLited - the Windows installation is complete). Not running it in a VM. All Windows services that run by default are running, I haven't disabled any services.

After i set transparency to 20 percent it laters changes to 80 percent by itself which makes it hard to even see the task bar and start menu.

cvs.exe cpc.exe altered one repair restarted cycle didn't not fix will try again in a few minutes
