Hello again,
After the recent update and also a further one this week also, I asked my mate if she had the latest version going. She checks and tells me that her version is 3.0.13.268. I am left wondering why after attempting to manually perform the update that its telling her no update available? I stress this lady is not using Vista she's runnin XP.
I know I am currently running 3.0.18.309 and thats at least two more updates more than shes had since we last spoke.
whats the reasoning behind the update not being detected for her?

Will give it another day and come back :-)
Many kind thanks for your time

I don't think the early problems with the updater had been fixed by her version.  She can do a download of the latest version, and its updater will also do a removal of her version and import her current settings.

Hello, has your friend tried to do a manual update? Also make sure that when she tries to update she has Internet Explorer set up in Application Rules as V3 uses this to update.

Hi, yes we did try to do this manually as after a few days I asked her if an auto one had kicked in to which she answered Nope  Cheesy

I will ensure she has Internet Explorer set up in app rules for sure, although I cant actually recall whether I did this myself, but eveidently I am one of the few not having issues with updates, so far touch wood *Taps head*  Roll Eyes

Anyways thanks again I will tell her,
sincerely,
