Malware scan after initial installation scan

Can anyone explain how you re-start the malware scan (for instance if you were to cancel the initial scan the installation scan) as I can't find the option anywhere!!
I didn't choose the AV installation option either, but I assume it is still possible?

Nope. The malware scan is part of the AV engine. So if you didn't install it, you can do no further scans.
