For what it's worth I'm pretty sure this is an issue with CIS on Vista. TC was working fine for me and then (I guess after a CIS update) it stopped, that was some time ago. I recently did a complete reinstall and enrolled for TC whilst online and it still doesn't work.

TC works fine on my wife's XP-based laptop, and has always worked fine, and she is at the latest version of CIS like me.

I just ran a network sniffer and tried enroling in TC, nothing gets sent on the network at all. Clearly TC is broken on Vista.

Threatcast shows ratings sometimes and other times not. It seems to be inconsistent. Whether this is a problem with the feature itself or simply happens because not enough people have tried to do the same thing you're doing, I'm not sure.

For me, it works not on a XP-Prof. laptop!

Same here it was working just  fine and stops working after a recent update. I'm sure it is on the CIS side.

Mine has started working on Vista since updating to 3.13.   Do you see the Threatcast tab at all because mine was missing completely before the update?

I think that sometimes the servers can be not available so it may be temporary.

Never seen the Threatcast tab ever!
Currently Using 3.13.121240.574 on Vista SP2.
Have double/triple ntuple times checked that Join Threatcast is on in settings.
Have been using CIS since launch, and never ever seen Threatcast. Sad
Ofcourse, during install of CIS, i was NEVER connected to internet. I make it a point that I am not on net when my firewall is going to be replaced!.
