defense+ error new 32bit install, diag not finding prob

Just installed CIS 32 bit wXP sp2&3
did not opt for the firewall as I have another I preferr. Everything looks good but getting msg, Defense+ not running properly. Hitting diag, gives no found problems. This is the 'free' CIS, is defense+ not supposed to be active, if so why was there not a way to not install?

So you downloaded the package from this site, right:
http://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/antivirus.php
Did you then disable anything. If not please direct me to the site that you downloaded it from.
