Hi
I've red all your childish posts about OA and i've got a question:
if thay are old, why comodo isn't able to pass 'em all??

Hi,

Could you tell us which leak tests CFP fail? Last time i saw CFP 2.4 was pasing all of them. Never mind 3.0.

Thanks,

tell me plz

anyway, in tallemu's forum we don't use to say bad things about comodo, because we all know is a very good product...

Bye

ps: i've deleted part of the post...i don't want to say bad things...

With all due respect, we did not initiate any of this childish behaviour. We are merely defending ourselves from attacks on our good name! And again, you continue these attacks by making false accusations (which is what started it all) asking why Comodo doesn't pass those leak tests!! Please...enough already!!

Are you referring to v2.4? Even v2.4 will pass all these tests!!! (FYI: the technology we developed over 2 years ago passed all these leak tests!!! This is old news!! The question is are you being protected from the new threats!!!?). Attacking Comodo on these old tests which we pass, is childish at best and ignorance at worst!

man what i just set is disable some icmp functions in OA that use your test, that's all.
u got a problem cause there's a FW that will come with a new version compatible with vista with new options and will maybe slap comodo?

after u say that if i disconnect from the internet the test failed....
please if it's to go this way, just stop going on talking , i don't care , your comodo is the best and that's all.

and talking about a FW u dont even know... i tested a lot comodo so i know it a little.
it seems it's not your case with OA.

omg m8!!
Sorry If you feel offended. I really meant that 'disable the network adapter' thing as a joke! I tried to be ironic. Maybe my lack of English. Sorry. The point is, that there is no point in attacking each others favourite program. Both are good firewalls. Period. Which one you like more really depends on if its working fo you or not and if you like the way its working or not. I like more the way cfp works. Somebody told earlier in this topic that cfp keeps you out from your system. I feel the oposite: Im in total control. For some this may be too obtrusive, although I thing cfp reaches this unobtrusively (personal opinion). But I never stated that CFP is THE BEST or it is BETTER than OA. I have no problem at all with OA. Btw you were the one who said that about OA. "It protects you better than cfp" Probably if someone else had stated the oposite you would feel again offended.

And about the new *promising* version of OA...if it really "slaps" comodo...so what? That would mean an even better security app. If it really happens we need to congratulate Tall Emu for the great work. Either way there will be no downside...the internet community will benefit from a greater security app who ever makes it. It would mean a safer internet. And that is the main goal of comodo.

so the story is not over? i didnt even read all cause for me it'sover, as we can talk normally and read stupidities big like an elephant, i will not answer to all that continues to be frustrated cause a free little firewall rules your great comodo.
maybe it's hard to accept but it's like that.
and when u want to talk about a product instead of saying it's crap compare to comodo u'de better test it.
and i can have my own opinion about something. i never said comodo was a bad FW, but U said OA was a poor FW, who u think u are to talking like that?
don't u respect work people sometimes?
with your poor FW that cant even works good on xp and u want to give lessons?
so please, watch in front of your door before u talk.
all exemples u give are crap , false cause ME as difference to U i tested both with all exploits i found on lot of sites.
i dont even understand how u can react like that for something without importance cause u're are the best in the universe.
i hope jetico and OA will slap your ass on vista and give you the place u deserve. last.

CFP will show you an alert about Service Control Manager. If you allow it, ofcourse it will allow. Smiley your firewll has a bug which is preventing that tool to be properly run Smiley It is not a leak test. It is a QA tool.

no alert from your firewall, i'm sorry.
it should block it as OA did.
my firewall has a bug?
mouaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaha.
this tool was coded to crash xp.
the prob is that comodo allow to load the ssdt list then u can launch exploits.
at some parts of the test comodo opens an alert to prevent the crash.
OA just anticipate what comodo cant, that's all.
a bug... i never saw that in my life, is it so hard to admit that OA did the right thing to prevent the list to load as comodo let the exploit start?
