lsass.exe error after firewall and or anti-virus install

I installed Comodo Firewall and Anti-Virus on a friends computer that had several viruses now it just keeps rebooting with a message"When trying to update a password the return status indicates that the value provided as the current password is not correct...".Is there anyway to fix the lsass, I can't get into safe mode and when booting from the winxp home cd it request an administrator password but there is none

Your problem could be due to either a malware infection by the sasser worm,or a  system file error.Either way there's no quick fix since you can't access the operating system to perform a repair.If it's a system file issue then an ebook detailing the repair proceedure is available here.It's very detailed and contains screenshots to help you along.

If it's a malware issue then the best course of action would be to run a BartPE boot cd in order to access the filesystem and run malware scans.
