My mail-client cannot sent messages.. I get "Time-out" error message.   Without TC it connects to SMTP well...

Free TC subscription does not allow SMTP (port 25) connections.
So if SMTP server you'r trying to use is not in your local network you won't be able
to communicate with it.
Another possible issue (non free TC) is the remote SMTP server is somehow blocking "unknown/untrusted" IP address which is an outgoing IP address of TC server.

Mail servers are often have some WEB-interface, which you may use for sending emails.

TrustConnect for paid users and users in trial allows SMTP connections.
