I guess this is the right place to post this ... hope so..

i keep getting the same trojan over and over again ....

        or malware...

        10.scr     8.scr    16.scr      20.scr.....   and so on

sometimes it is difficult to kill the process when i open task manager...

then i delete it from system32 in the windows directory

then i empty the recycle bin...

             then i run a dos command ... to rd .. /s /q c:\recycler

             my question is

can Comodo's firewall block this from even getting into my computer...

could i set up some rule .. to block all *.scr files attempting to sneak in ?

thanks for any feedback
i have been using CFP  for quite some time now...

Greetings,

you can easely block an application with defense+. Go to :

CIS --> defense+ --> running processes
then right click on the processes you would like to block and choose : terminate and block
It will never bother you again

yours sincerely,

Xan

You should note that if you tell it to block *.scr, you will not be able to use any screen savers since all screen savers have the extenstion ".scr". This is fine if you dont use screen savers anyway. If you use them to prevent burn in on your CRT monitor, you can also just turn the monitor off to prevent burn in.
