I suggest adding:

Latin american Spanish and I can help with that. I live in Mexico.

I've already sent a private message to umesh but so far I've not received response.

I read this thread and so far no one seems to offer to translate in Spanish (LA).

Please consider my offer
Im willing to invest some of my time in doing a translation to danish.

I have sent a msg about 3 days ago, to Umesh but he hasnt replied...

I'm not sure, but you probably can just download the files and start to translate.
I think they are happy with all the help they can get. Wink

Hi Guys,
I have received couple of request from various users on translation and some have done also.
The issue that i see the format is not maintained when it comes to having a separate column for a newly added language. There has to be one to one correspondence.

Considering that and the other point which has been raised in forums that context is very important and not always you can be sure where the stuff appears in Comodo Firewall.

We are creating a tool that will have translation to be done in a grid control with following columns:
[Context] [English Text] [English Text Length] [Translation] [Translated Text Length]

Once you click on any grid row, a dialog box will popup to let you enter translation.

[Context] : This will point out the context in which the text in Comodo firewall appears and will also point if there is limitation on tanslated text length.

[English Text] : Text that is to be translated

[English Text Length]: In case of limitation on number of charaters, this field can be guiding point.

[Translation] : This will be the only editable edit box where you have to enter translation.

[Translated Text Length] : As you type in tanslation, this field will show how many chars you have actually typed, which may be useful in case there is a restriction on number of characters.

Getting translation done through tool will enable us to adhere to standard translation format and we will not have to mess with Excel.

I am expecting to give all the users files to be translated with the tool tomorrow.

Thanks for showing co-operation.

Add... = 4 characters. Bug in the tool?
However, i've rename it to 'Új..' but that means 'New...'. The Hungarian word for Add is 'Hozzáad'.

I've started today and i'm on it to finish it asap., but allow me at least 1 more day to check my own translation.

Does it matter if i change 'Next >' to 'Következő' ?

I think many of us who are translating has faced the same issue:
that some words and phrases translated properly in our language result in a text with more length than english text. ie:

"help" which is 4 characters in Spanish has to be:
"ayuda" which is 5 character.

This example is just 1 more length but there are phrases that results in more length ie:
"network control rule" is 20 characters
in Spanish, the phrase that translates the exact meaning is:
"regla de control de la red" which is 26 characters long. even truncating it a bit by altering the minimum the meaning it does not fit on 20 characters:
"regla de control de red" which now is 23 characters.
