Rafel: We're very sorry you feel this way - there must have been some confusion here, since ektorbarajas has been doing the translation for a while now. If you still have the time and desire, could you pls. help him out here and adapt the work he's already done and posted? http://forums.comodo.com/index.php/topic,2624.0.html

Rafael has offered to do the Spain Spanish translation but he reports that he has not received the translation tool yet.

It's important to handle and to have two separate Spanish translations, since I've mentioned earlier the Latin american Spanish differs in many words and expressions from the Spain Spanish, also many other software include Spain Spanish and Latin american Spanish, and so Comodo should consider having both Spanish variations.

btw, I'm currently working on translating the help files with is quite a job but I expect to have it finished next Wednesday.

Best regards comodo

Umesh, I sent to you my translated files for Brazilian Portuguese (including Help files). Why the status is as "pending" yet? Something is missing?

Cucamonga.

Just read the beta announce today, as I wasn't online for a while.

Tranlation status of german translation is the following:
German translation is done except part of master.txt and images.txt wich is still pending as I'm moving to a new town in mid december.
I'm surrounded by packing cases Wink and still so much work to do for it.
I try to at least translate a few lines every night.
To save a little time I'll stick my ready marked files to the german thread already for review.

Regards,
Marcel

There is an error in CPF_Master.txt on line 313. In English Text there is "% s" (with space between "%" and "s" symbols). Thus Comodo Firewall Translator Utility shows message: "%s occurs more in the translated text".

On Line 338 it's written: "<b>Description:</b> %s <br> <b>Duration:</b> %d seconds <b># of packets:</b> %d <b># of attackers:</b> %d <br>".
I've changed to (In translation) "<b>Description:</b> %s <br> <b>Duration:</b> %d seconds <b># of packets:</b> %d <br><b># of attackers:</b> %d <br>".
Thus Comodo Firewall Translator Utility shows message: "<br> occurs more in the translated text".

Line 635: ... "by advanced users.injections as well"... Huh

Hi again,

I also noted that this new translation util do not accept the "ñ" character.

This character is present in many Spanish words, and some words could not be expressed in other way, for example

size in Spanish is tamaño, there are synonyms like dimensiones, envergadura, número but they could not be used since the conceptual meaning is lost.

Umesh. is it possible to have the "ñ" character??

Hi,

ektorbarajas  :  We will remove restriction of "ñ" character and update utility on monday.
"WHERE IPPROTO IS" is correct, when you define a n/w rule and protocol selected is IP the description of rule under 'Details' appears like
ALLOW IP IN or OUT FROM IP [Any] to IP [ANY] WHERE IPPROTO IS TCP
So "WHERE IPPROTO IS" should be translated in above context.

Arkangyal  : Everybody can safely ignore last three words "injections as well" present in line 635, it
has been a copy- paste mistake.
Technically there is no difference between "%s" and "% s". So even if "%s" is translated as "% s" or vice-versa it's impact on final outcome will be the same. Anyway i will rectify the strings to be always "%s".

Thanks
-umesh

Hi Rafel,
In your translation newly added strings translation is missing!

There are 18 new strings added in 'fwconfig_Master.txt', 67 new strings added in 'CPF_Master.txt' and 6 new strings added in 'CPF_Images_Text.txt'.

So please translate once which are left also.

Thanks
