Saludos !, he terminado de hacer la traducción al español latino americano, adjunto el archivo
Comodo Firewall Spanish (LA).zip que contiene los documentos de texto que me mando Umesh. Creo que hasta el momento ni hay alguien que revise la traducción al español latino americano.

Así mismo creo que estos archivos les pueden ser de utilidad al equipo que estará traduciendo Comodo Firewall al Español de España o a otras variantes del castellano.

IMPORTANTE: hay diferencias significativas entre el español latino americano y el español de España, de ahí la importancia de manejar dos versiones de español


Hi. I've Finished with the Latin american Spanish Translation, attached is the file Comodo Firewall Spanish (LA).zip which contains the text files Umesh sent me. I believe that so far there is no Spanish LA Reviewer.

I Think those files would be useful for the team responsible for the Spain Spanish translation or even other Spanish variations

IMPORTANT: there are significant differences between Latin american Spanish and Spain Spanish, hence the importance of having two Spanish versions

I've made some minor changes to the files, basically I changed the word "trojanos" for "troyanos" wich is the right spanish translation for trojan... sorry my mistake but now every word "trojanos" is replaced by "troyanos".

P.S: this zip also contains the previous file CPF_Images_Text.txt just in case 

I'm currently working on tranlating the help files. I told Umesh I'll have them ready on Friday 3 of November, will do my best to have them earlier.

IMPORTANT:  Umesh and Ivan reported that the files were incomplete.

I checked this zip file by downloading it again and now all the files seems to be complete, no truncated anymore.

Hi Spanish community.

Here are attached the text files, so that the users working under the Spain Spanish could base on my translated files.

It's important to note that the text files are the most recent versions, the ones where umesh reported new lines added for translation. Also I used the last translation tool which allows the "ñ" character and has built in reviewer.

Please feel free to use them for Spain Spanish.
And if you find some typo or other errors please let me know so I can fix them.
 

P.S. since the help files zip is about 4 MB it's not possible to post it right here.

I've already sent them to Umesh and perhaps you could ask him for them. Or if you prefer you could give a PM specifying an email address that can receive zip attachments of 4 MB (hotmail can) and I'll email it for you.

Hi Ivan Omar & Rafael.

Umesh has just sent me a PM informing that he found exactly the same the LA files with the Spain files. Just wanted to know if you uploaded the latest files with the minor changes you did.

by reviewing the Comodo Firewall Beta Spanish LA I found that perhaps this is the Spain translation and not the LA, found minor differences like:

LA Spanish: TCP/UPD
Spain Spanish: TCP ó UDP 
Actual Comodo Firewall Beta for Spanish LA is: TCP ó UDP

at "comportamiento de aplicaciones": it says "... de aplicaciones para el comodo firewall"
Where my Spanish LA Translation should say on that fragment "... de aplicaciones para comodo firewall" (without the "el").

I'll continue to review the software and send to Umesh my findings and possible bugs.
Umesh, I'd appreciate if you verify that you used the Spanish LA files instead of the Spanish Spain.

Hi Ektorbarajas,
I think we have a problem here.
I have downloaded "Comodo Firewall Text Files Spanish (LA)(13-Nov-06).zip" for Spanish (LA)
and "Spanish (España) - Rafel HiR (base ektorbarajas).zip" for Spain Spanish.
and i do not find any difference between the two!
Please have a look at enclosed snap.

I would request both of you to please mail me (umesh[ at ]comodo.com) latest translation.
In the mean time i will go with the release of Spanish (España) with whatever translation i have from Rafel.

I have not considered review done by Ivan Omar as it is not having additional strings which i added lately. It just has 567 strings.

Podrian ayudarme ya que necesito pasar el Firewall del Ingles al Castellano.
Si pueden ayudarme mentras tanto. Tengo activado el muro de fuego y un programa que se llama utorrent. Me esta limitando la descarga de archivos provenientes de internet. Saben como puedo arreglarlo???.

Ya he mandado los archivos a Umesh, solo que se llos mandé el 8 de Enero en la noche, por lo que es probable que ya no hayan podido meterlos en el RC2, mas si me confirmo Umesh que los había recibido y que todo estaba OK. ¿a lo mejor pronto lanzan el add on para spanish LA y para Spanish Spain? o quizá para el RC3

I've sent the files to Umesh, I sent them on Juanary 8 at night, perhaps that was the reason that they could not be added to the RC2, but Umesh confirmed he received the files and that all was ok. maybe the Spanish LA and Spanish Spain add on will be launched soon? or perhaps until RC3.
