Ok, thanks.  And how big is this cache?

cache is limited to the free space available in your HD.

It's good the cache is stored in the HD & not Memory. Performance boost. Smiley

The more files you access, the bigger the Cache will become.

Oh, is the cache as big as the disk activity amount shown in Diskshield?

It's an amazing thing watching this in action. For a bit of amusement I installed Diskshield alone on an XP VM,then I proceeded to visit every dodgy site I could find, installing all manner of stuff in the process.I ran rogue applications(WinAV 2008) and as many keygens and activex downloads as I could find.It was utter chaos,pop-ups everywhere, then I rebooted...clean as a whistle, great stuff  Bounce

I'd think that might be included in a later version, they're concentrating on getting the basics right to start with. This is an extremely promising application so far  Viva Comodo

Yes they do but before they start adding a load of additional features they need to make sure that what they already have is as secure and bug free as possible.

Hi guys, I ran a few quick simple tests with it last night, impressive! Only thing was the time of logoff & reboot that increased considerably if this could be accelerated to near normal it'll be awesome!!! Looking forward to next release & especially being able to update from within DiskShield itself...

Regards and great work Comodo Clapping (R)

Cheers Cheers

Considering this is a beta it seems remarkably mature already,I'd expect the performance to be tweaked up before it goes to release.

Oh, I can't wait for the next version.  Any dev's out there?  Hurry up!!!!  Evil  Just kidding.  If you hurry, you might mess up.

But, where should I ask the developers when it is going to come out?
