This sounds like a great release. Maybe I can do my idea of doing a fresh install, installing DS and other security, and then install all applications on top of DS. A complete virtual system That would be cool.

Thanks for all your hard work on this. Smiley

Good work guys! Just tested it on an old machine, and although it was a little slow (probably due to the age of the machine and low memory) it worked and worked well! System changes kept until I said otherwise. Brilliant!

Due to the lack of a manual, can somebody explain what the difference is between session saving and virtual drives?

Shield any drive , session starts and do some changes like copying or moving etc then if u r going to restart the system

Save session ---keeps the changes

Dont keep session --It will not save the changes  (shield -Unshield is a one session)

Virtual drive is just a ready made drive it will take the space from the local disk as an image file u can mount that whenever u r in need of that Wink

A:The ability to create a permanent storage area for files, for users with only the one partition and
B: A few more options with regards to saving sessions, for example saving bookmarks or software updates, rather than just 'all or nothing'.

Pls add these. Smiley

But it has it already!

NEW! Virtual Drives: You can define a virtual drive in which all the data will persist after a reboot

Maybe you should call it 'Real Drives', instead of 'Virtual Drives'.  Grin

Real Drives
Fixed Drives
Permenent Drives
Constant Drives
Forced Drives

My Windows Theme is Black. But for some reason, when right-click the System Tray icon and click 'Show/Hide', it displays 'DiskShield' in a Blue Window; not a Black Window. Is this normal?  Huh

It's the background that changes.

You can turn it of in Tools, Settings.

Hello just wondering exactly what I could use "Virtual drive" for?

Would I install web browsers or risky apps to this drive?

Does it communicate to the main drive?
