I haven't downloaded 4.23 yet but from the screenshots I've seen, it doesn't appear that the version number is listed at the top like the old BOClean GUI. For example, when I would bring up BOClean's GUI, at the very top was listed "BOClean 4.22.002"

I don't see that on the new version, is it listed someplace else? See below for old version:

Nope, you are right. I can't find the version number. Only the installer tells me it is version 4.23 .

if you look in task manager, you'll see BOC423.exe

My guess would be that in order to fit "Comodo BOClean" on the menu, they had to lose the version number

A requirement brought about by the "rebranding." I was told that any mention of "BOClean" had to be "COMODO BOClean 4.23 Anti-malware" and that would have made the button menu take up almost half the screen on an 800x600 or smaller display ... tried that originally and as a result, had to go in favor of a smaller graphic instead. As a result of this compromise, nice pretty graphics replaced the former text banner folks were used to in the PSC versions.

If you locate BOC423.EXE and right click, select properties, you'll find it right there - as required by Microsoft should you want to check the version number ... apologies to anyone who isn't happy with the change, but it was necessary for aesthetics ...
