I wish to able to close the BoClean window once I have opened it. I know it can be moved elsewhere (as can any other window) but it would be nice, as with just about every programme, to simply open and close it as needed.

Thanks

Nick

I have a feature request for BOClean:

allow the user to hide the traybar icon without totally eliminating access to the program. Allow the user to hide traybar icon, but user can still open the configuration menu via the Start menu listing.

I would like to see a smaller memory footprint. BOClean uses about twice as much RAM as ThreatFire.

melih,
i m an avid fan of comodo. currently i have cfp and ve installed. i want to install boclean, ivault and cavs too. i will install cavs when it comes out of beta. regarding ivault the launchpad is disgusting plzz remove it. i m eager to use boclean and had used boclean 4.25 for a while. one fine day it came up with a trojan and i deleted the file and then started the real problem. i was unable to use corel photo programme, cd write program.... showed some files missing.

the point is that when boclean comes up with a malware there are only two options delete the file -  yes or no. i strongly think that there should be a quarantine function. and the options should be delete the file - yes or no or quarantine the file. am i right melih?? well strongly i am................... this way we will have
the option to restore the file in case of false positive or any problem. what say melih?Huh

HI all!

I want comodo boclean to have a feature that solves most common problems with this program (corrupted database, update problems, gui hangs etc) automatically.

Boclean should detect such a problem and gives an option to solve manually or let it solve automatically.

Offtopic: I like boclean slim architecture as it is, small and powerfull, keep it this way!!

okey, have a nice day folks!!!

Hi naren Smiley

You have posted your suggestion in the right section, but it was Kevin McAleavey who designed the original BOClean for more than 10 years ago. Comodo bought his company over a year ago, and now Kevin is responsible for ( ofcource ) the developement of ( his ) BOClean and CAVS. If you have personal questions you can always send him a pm, but be patient for an answer because Kevin is not on a every day base here on the forum Smiley

boclean is a superior malware product. as u say its hard for a file scanner to detect malware. so u have created boclean in an innovative way to monitor memory and catch malware when it attempts to run. i agree but i strongly think atleast quarantine feature should be there so that in case of any false positive or any problem we can restore changes. wot say kevin??

I have used SpyBot and Spyware Blaster for malware prevention and clean up on my computer.  When I compare those two with BoClean, BoClean did not detect the CoolWWWSearch.hjg, HellzLittleSpy and Win32.Agent.pz bugs that SpyBot did.  Can you tell me why this is so?

I do use the CFP and like it very much, as it is the most versatile firewall program I have ever used.  I would like to stay with Comodo products but am weary about the BoClean program.
