The problem I was having with manual updates through GUI seems to have fixed itself overnight, the box must have just needed a good nights sleep .................. have no idea really, maybe it needed a cold start, I rebooted several times last night but nothing, first thing I tried after booting up this morning was a manual update and bingo went straight through. Beats the cr*p out of me.

I installed the latest version 4.23 but I'm thinking about going back to 4.22 also until things get worked out with the new version.

What things ? Yes, there are some issues. But nothing to worry about. Give Kevin and his team some time to solve them m8 Smiley

Kevin noted there was work to do on the updates being hosted on the new server when it was first released last night.
I'd guess they've worked that out now.

I've been getting great support from Kevin and Nancy in the past so I know what KM is capable of doing.
But for now I know I don't have any problems when I run the older version and I'm comfortable with that.
Kevin is the reason I'm not ditching BOC, just probably moving back to the previous version until I see that everything is working smoothly.
Things like rebooting the pc in order to access the menu, updater hangs, some people in other forums are now posting about BOC423.exe crashes or other programs not working, those things.
I know its only the first day of the release thats why I'm using the wait and see approach.

Working really well on my main laptop.  Getting update error message on my other laptop and I noticed that my AV scanner, Avira AntiVir PE Premium is scanning much more slowly.  CBOC hasn't found anything in either PC yet.  It's working away silently and I feel much more secure.   All in all, I'm delighted, great job done by everyone.

something like that I guess. I just email Kevin to put his mind at rest, I felt terrible last night like I spoilt the party.
I reckon it just needed 12 hours to work out how to work upside down here in OZ  Tongue

Hi folks, Did I miss the release of the new BOClean? Reading the posts above it seems I might have. If I did, can someone tell me where I find it? If it hasn't, please excuse.  Smiley
