Hi

I have some issue with the excluder.
I've tryed the vista start menu some of the ppl here are talking about.
I have setup the excluder to exclude some file.
Then i wanted to remove those exclude.
Rigth click/delete/erase key don't work

So i came here to comlains Wink

However i double check and saw the "remove item"
so this is ok finally, just not as intuitive as i tougth.

While double checking something strange occured.
Those file weren't in the excluder.
So maybe the delete key works .. but the gui isnt updating.

So i did another test.
I launched the vista start menu again.
Now i have no alerts .. as if the file are excluded.
However i do not see them in the excluder windows.
They are lost somewhere ....

And finally the last strange thing.
I pressed the examine report button to try to understand.
And i have a empty report log !!!!
I did see two alerts but none of them where logged.
Either the log don't work or there's a default setting about loging that isnt rigth.

Aside from those oddity .. good program Wink

A few times now I've noticed that the BOClean icon has disappeared from the taskbar, and BOC423.exe has also disappeared from process explorer. Huh

I could find any error messages relating to the last crash, but there was this from last night. (I think it crashed last night, at about the time this entry appeared.

 Hope this helps somewhat...

When it does the regular system check, CPU will spike to 50% on average, for a couple seconds.  This is on a p3/500mhz, 640mb ram.  I don't see the spike (so far, anyway) on pm/1.6ghz, 512mb ram.

PS:  What's with all the connection attempts?  Updates schedule aside, it seems to connect very frequently, with multiple firewall popups based on a multitude of different Ports it's using.

Hi,

Came to see whether or not the official release had taken place. I too have been listening to the intermittant  recaliberation exams (not every 10 secs) duration 5 seconds approx. ever since I d/l.

Will this be addressed in the offical release or are the changes related to GUI & Vista compatibility?

I don't know if BOClean is an improvement to my setup or if it's overwhelming it! Forgive my lack of tech speak.

When do the owners that bought BOClean get the program? Or are we like everyone else, just download. Thought there were special downloads for us.

I take some of this back... it's not happening on the regular system check, nor even on the application launch check.  It's happening when BOC423.exe is trying to connect to the internet every few minutes.  I'm not talking about BOC4UPD.exe, but about the main front-end executable.  Updates are set for 24 hours, starting 30 minutes after boot, and it's not the updater that wants to connect.  If Allowed, BOC423.exe connects out to port 21, then opens a 2nd connection on a (varies) high-number port.  If Denied (I'm not 100% sure of the connection here; I have to test it next time) I get a bonkin' nasty-lookin' update error notice.

I think they just lumped us in with all the other cheapskates that waited until it was free.  Undecided

I think you're probably correct.  Now all are equal in Comodo's eyes... Wink

I lost net connection - router powered down - and BOC dropped me this window. I think you can write a better text for this error.
