FTP error Connection failed Socket error # 11004

I installed Comodo Backup on a friend computer to backup to his FTP site. When I click
test connect
the message "FTP error Connection failed Socket error # 11004" comes out and I con not connect. I use my FTP to connect to the FTP site and it connects with NO PROBLEM. it is the COMODO backup that will not connect.
I included the comodo program on the firewall exceptions already.
