Can you try to split this backup in to 2 different one's?
One for Track0+MBR and one fore Drive C see if that works?

I tried to do two separate backups of the C, one for Track 0 & MBR and one for the C:/. Both failed with error code 4.

Can you set extra logging by going to settings and select "Log to file" select a path and logfile name.
Now run the backup again and see if you can "read" this logfile?

Can you try to backup to an other destination?
What's your H: drive for kind of device? Does a registry backup to H:\ also fail?

I tried backing up my C:/ drive to my external G:/ drive, and it also failed.
My H:/ Drive is a Seagate Freeagent External drive. I removed the Freeagent Software from my computer and re-formated the disk before installing Comodo. The drive works fine, as far as I can tell.
Registry backup to H:/ was successful. Interestingly, even with the successful registry backup, the log file is still a bunch of unreadable characters.

Major Bug:
Scheduling a backup fails on WinXP with error:
An error occurred while setting the schedule. The schedule has not been set.
- Windows XP Pro SP3, x32.
- CIS
- Create a backup with a schedule in it, non of the options is successful.
- N/A
- No attached
- N/A
- NTFS
- Does not contain anything regarding this failure.
- This error happens on all COMODO BackUp 2... versions. COMODO BackUp v.1.0.4.337 works correctly.

I'm using Windows XP Professional 32-bit.
No other backup software installed. I use avast antivirus. I use Spybot and Ad-aware for ant-spyware.
I installed Comodo and attempted to do a Disk Backup of my internal C:\ drive that has Windows installed on it, including Track 0 and MBR. Immediately upon attempting to perform the backup, I get a failure code 4. Here's a screenshot:
I rebooted, and attempted to run the backup again multiple times, and I get the same error.
It seems like I can do a disk backup of my two external drives with no problems. I just can't do my C:/ Drive.
I did successfully run a file and directories backup of the C:/ drive using the simple backup option successfully.
The current logfile doesn't seem to be in a simple text format and comes out in strange unintelligible characters.
Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated, as I have heard great things about Comodo backup and would love to be able to do a disk backup of my C:/ drive.
Thanks.
Hi,
Can you attach a print screen of your disk(s) layout?
(Right click on My Computer->manage->storage->diskmanagement)
Thank You.

Hi
There is an issue with calculating time remaining (not related to Hungarian date format).
Your backup is running anyway.

Here's a screenshot of the diskmanagement screen:
Windows XP has crashed 3 times since I installed Comodo too. The blue error screen on XP says that the crash was caused by CBUFS.SYS page fault in a non paged area. I didn't write down any more information than that. I see that someone else in this thread has also reported a possible conflict with CBUFS.SYS and the current version of Comodo...

This bsod happened twice, after i run utorrent, maybe there's nothing interessting in it, but haven't happened before.
Storage shot attached.
Third time, once i run utorrent, bsod happened... Does CBU got problems with utorrent files? utorrent locations? etc.? the utorrent files are located on drive Z: (NTFS) and on drive G: (FAT32) (friends only torrents so never mind).
Zzz.. man, worst release for me...

Normal Bug:
Synchronization fails to remove specific files from the sync destination.
So you're saying delete propagation is not included in this version? That was an 'option' missing in v1 but otherwise v1 works really great in sync mode, you may want to take a look until they fix v2.
