Normal Bug:
Synchronization fails to remove specific files from the sync destination.
- Windows XP SP3, x32, Professional, VMWare.
- CIS & CSC
- Create a sync backup for a specific folder.
Create a New, "Wave Sound" file and rename it to the .log extension,
now the file get's synced to the destination folder,
but if you delete it it doesn't get removed from the sync destination.
(This doesn't fail if you test with normal logfiles!).

- N/A
- NTFS
- Does not contain anything regarding sync backup.

XP Home 32 bit
- Comodo Backup 1 installed
- Attempted Installation via update on UI
- How you tried to resolve the problem;
- Screen-shots with the error (if any);
- Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any;
- file system NTFS
- All log files;
- When attempting installation from update button on interface, installer does not search for previously installed BU2 and request for uninstall but begins installation by asking for installation path.

Hi
A few more details would help:
Does this happen to all types of backups?
Try to schedule something else on another storage destination.
Is your windows Task Scheduler disabled?
Did this problem existed in 2.0 version?
Thanks

Hi,
Yes i can't schedule any type of backup unless i set it to manual.
Tried to schedule on local disk and USB pen drive doesn't matter.
No Task Scheduler is started, Automatic
Don't know if it happens with version 2.0, this was the first release i dared to install on my Win7 system
Regional Settings set to Format = Dutch, maybe that could help.
**Edit: changing this to default English (US) doesn't fix it either.

I'm using Windows XP Professional 32-bit.
No other backup software installed. I use avast antivirus. I use Spybot and Ad-aware for ant-spyware.
I installed Comodo and attempted to do a Disk Backup of my internal C:\ drive that has Windows installed on it, including Track 0 and MBR. Immediately upon attempting to perform the backup, I get a failure code 4. Here's a screenshot:
I rebooted, and attempted to run the backup again multiple times, and I get the same error.
It seems like I can do a disk backup of my two external drives with no problems. I just can't do my C:/ Drive.
I did successfully run a file and directories backup of the C:/ drive using the simple backup option successfully.
The current logfile doesn't seem to be in a simple text format and comes out in strange unintelligible characters.
Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated, as I have heard great things about Comodo backup and would love to be able to do a disk backup of my C:/ drive.
Thanks.
