Well... Amazing! I received a paid license as a gift. But is always good to know that.
What the paid users do then? Upgrade the TC program, do a free registration?

Oh, the website should be updated  Wink

I'm so glad I Googled "TrustConnect Free" before I paid. The credit card info was filled out to buy a year at $19.95. WOOHOO! Smiley

Thank you so much, Comodo!!!

I would like a little clarification. Is the ad supported free version with the 10GB limit good again after the limit is reached? In other words, if the limit is reached within the month, I only have to wait until the next month, sign in and everything is okay or does a person have to register again after the 10GB limit is reached.

Your TrustConnect account will be blocked till the end of current registration period. Then you can connect to TrustConnect again.

What does "end of current registration period" mean?

Thanks.

Since your registration, you will be able to use the free CTC service with limit of 10 GB per month.
If the limit is reached within the month (e.g., since registration date), you have to wait until the next month and continue to use the service. You have not to register again after the 10GB limit is reached.
You can check your account details here: https://accounts.comodo.com/trustconnect/management

Current registration period = current accounting period, i.e. a month since registration date and so on.

Are this the only protocols blocked with Free TC, or there are still some more?

Certain other protocols such as ftp, smtp, nntp and ntp are also blocked

Only some of protocols are allowed: HTTP and HTTPS connections, some of instant messengers such as MSN and ICQ.

All other protocols are blocked.

I tried trustconnect vpn on my iphone 3gs. It connects and disconnects after that. It does not stay connected. Anyone with the same issue?

Any help will be appreciated.

I am always concerned using free WiFi when travelling, at airports, coffee shops etc. It is amazing that this is offered. I will be travelling through the US most of January, so am grateful. Thank you Comodo

So is this used all the time? Or just when connecting to a source that is outside of our home?

You may use TrustConnect anywhere (at home, too), but it doesn't connect automatically, you should run it manually when you consider that you need a secure connection. When the connection is established, all your Internet traffic (except home LAN) will go through TrustConnect server.
