Why Isn't Trust Connect Using Port 1194 For The VPN?

Port 1194 is a standard for VPN so why isn't Comodo using this and using 443?   

443 is the http protocol over TLS/SSL.

The internet does have web/port standards and it makes sense to stick with them and use them and I find it odd that Comodo chooses to use 443 for VPN...

Port 1194 is often blocked on public access points, so TrustConnect is using port 443.
