in addition to having a thing beside links like wot also add an option for the user to enable the functionality of sending files to CIMAS. also intergrate DACS into CIMAS and have the submitted file download there first and  run in a virtual environment to see what the file does. if it's good then let the file download to the users computer. do all this under the users nose without any action needed unless the file is malware.

if it's malware then alert the user and tell them why they shouldn't download this file. if the file is good then leave the user uninterrupted. if the user hits the download link and the file gets submitted and it's good then let the file download to the users computer like normal without the user noticing any difference between using this feature and not using this feature.

let me know if i don't make sense. i will be happy to clear up any misunderstandings

yes i realize that it may be a lot to ask to happen all at once and seem instant but if it can be done then why not. i don't develop services like Comodo does. i'm just simply suggesting an idea to Comodo because they do develop services and only they know what they can and can't do. maybe it's not possible now but that doesn't mean it wont be in the future. so don't just disregard this idea based on what's possible today. if you like the idea then remember it for when the day may come when it is possible

exactly right...it will use the cloud scanner that CIS is using to check the files.

i love when people are on the same wave link. thanks for being one step ahead and working on implementing this.

is the add on toolbar thing going to be built into dragon as a feature to turn on and off or one the user has to install. no matter what rout you take, is it going to be a traditional toolbar like mcafee site advisor or avg link scanner or something more minimal like wot with the thing beside the links for the user to check results of sites and having a button in the chrome portions of the browser.

or are you guys ditching the add-on approach all together and doing something more like what languy99 is suggesting. either way i just don't want my space taken in Comodo Dragon by some long toolbar.

i can't wait for this service to hit full force

and yes i know that it wont be like any of those other services in the way that it actually protects users. wot is user opinions etc

there are different options and they all have pros and cons...
we can do things at dns level or at toolbar level or at browser level (no toolbar)...

they all have pros and cons as i said above and we haven't finalised the approach..

I personally would prefer it to be integrated into SecureDNS.

Am I right to understand that the free version (web version) is only on demand and the paid version is on access?

There will be a addon to CIS/dragon.

Still not following... What is paid, what is free? What is on demand, what is on access?
I mean, is there any way to get on access protection for free? (the one I'm interested on of course...).
