I just installed CBS and noticed a significant bug: even if I choose a saving method, Economy mode for instance, I can easily do whatever I want with my phone.

There it says only phone calls and sms are permitted but I can connect to internet etc.
How's that?
I'm using the version on Google Play.

Please fix this as the program seems promising.

BUG REPORT ON CBS 1.0.253779.1

Battery saver always show that my Androids battery is at 100%, no matter how many hours I use it.
Once its completely discharged, it shows a message saying that I should unplugged the charger because the battery has been fully charged and then it turns off with the battery fully exhausted (even though it still shows 100% charged).

Also, I get many popups from CBS saying that 20% has been reached and that ECONOMY MODE has been activated. But because CBS always show 100% battery charged, then it conflicts itself and remove the ECONOMY MODE and assigns back to the MY CUSTOM MODE. A couple of minutes later, the popup comes back again, and its an endless cycle. This behavior apparently its because the battery is discharging to low levels. But I cannot charge it because CBS always tells me that the battery its at 100%, so when I plug the charger I get the message "Please unplug the charger, the battery is full".

- Your version of Android and the hardware you are using
Android 4.0.4, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Model GT-N8000

- Other Security Software Installed (if any)
Comodo Antivirus and Comodo Battery Saver

- How you produced the problem
I cannot produce the problem, I just have to wait until the batter is at low levels (remember CBS always shows 100% no matter what).

- Is the issue reproducible?
Apparently not, because I have another tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2) and its not having this problem.

- Is the device rooted / jailbroken?
No

- How you tried to resolve the problem
Uninstalling CBS

- Screen-shots with the error (if any)
N/A

- Any other Additional Information (for example, any non-default settings used)
Im afraid that this wrong behavior from CBS will reduce my battery life. So please dont ask me to install the same version. I can install new versions or updated versions for testing purposes.

Is this bug solved in the new CBS version release?

Is there an option for CBS to enable at a specific interval WiFi and/or Data conection just to check if there are new mail or messages?

+1
A very needed feature. Turning off the data connection(s) is fine to save power, but we should have an automated polling function to re-enable data and sync every x minutes for y minues.

Also, there should be a threshold for disabling the data connection to avoid cutting running/finishing transfers in half. E.g. keep the connection open if there is an avg. data transfer of x kb/sec but max for y minutes. Very useful if you launch updates of apps and then leave the phone unattended to complete.

I'm not sure if anyone else had had this issue but under utilization many CBS doesn't show the app usage. It has only ever said 0%. Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,

Eric

CBS and CCloud for Android really need a serious PM who can take over the project and inject it with lots of development and important issues to be fixed.
