Excuse me if this has already been answered  (quickly scanning forum between jobs),but Returnil, which this product appears to closely resemble, has the option to create a virtual drive in order to permanently save data during a protected session. For those with only a single disk/partition this is a very useful function and allows downloads without constantly turning protection on and off. Will there be a similar function with Diskshield?

first version of the sandbox will be built into CFP. The reason for that is because unless you build a very good protection into a Sandbox, malware can easily jump out of it into the OS. So to save re-creating all the security needed we will be putting it into CFP to start with.

PS: release Schedule looks like this:

1st Comodo Internet Security (CIS) (with full blown CAV integrated with CFP (or CAV3 can be a stand alone)
2nd CIS with Sandoxing and Threatcast functionality built in.

just wondering, will an uninstall/reinstall be needed for all this, like with safesurf.

ok, no problem. if it does require it,  it'll be worth it.

Its a good program don't get me wrong Melih. But you know me well enough by now. To me it doesn't compete with Sandboxie.  Nerd

it's not meant to. Sandboxie is aplication level virtualization. Diskshield is hardrive/partition level virtualization. follow the bouncing ball.  Kewl
