I was testing Comodo Rescue Disk today, and I dont know if this is actually a bug.

Because WiFi is not supported, and my router not having any port for wired connections, I tried to import the virus database from local COMODO installation (/mnt/C).

Perhaps someone else can try to reproduce it:
Once in COMODO RESCUE DISK, open CCE.
Go to TOOLS > IMPORT VIRUS DATABASE.
Then, import the latest bases.cav file.

CCE in Comodo Rescue Disk has a bases.cav file size of around 4 or 7 KB.
After doing the above procedure, the file remained with the same size.

I manually deleted the original file, copied the new file (+140 MB) and changed permissions:
User: 1000
Group: 1000
CHMOD: 710

There is no way I could verify if doing this procedure manually, would allow CCE to accept the bases.cav file.

RECOMMENDATION:
CCE in Comodo Rescue Disk should inform the version of the database being used in ABOUT and in LOGS.

CCE 2.4 works fine with this import feature.
