What you said made sense, as long as it works and is secure  Tongue .

I thought the DRM thing is at the kernel level, while your driver would be a the user-mode level and using API calls....  Maybe the DRM thing is at both levels, like some anti virus products in XP?

Thankyou for taking the time to even respond, i have never received such a detailed response!!!!!

Running nicely (so far!) along side Prevx1 & AOL AVS.

My apologies for BOClean getting released without the proper information and support in place prior - we never did things this way.   Sad

Yeah, Melih obviously jumped the gun. I can understand getting it out to people who have been waiting for it but what's a few more days? He should've waited all the documentation was ready. Looks like Kevin will be busy answering posts where people are reporting problems because they have no documentation.

Just downloaded it a couple of hours ago. Installed it in Vista Ultimate 32bit - no problem what so ever  Clapping No conflicts with anything. (yet at least)

But then again UAC was the first thing I turned off after indexing service, readyboost and superfetch when I installed vista the first time Smiley

I have been getting the same autoupdate problem as Strangquark on both laptop & desktop running the RC1 of Vista still good till I think June. Difference is i am running 4.22 on both.
that is the only errors i noticed running 4.22 on vista. After reboot I will get can't find the file but clicking on the update button in GUI always worked just fine. I suppose I do have custom firewall rules in Vista firewall and can easly go back and click reset to default.

I will also stick with 4.22 for now.

Hey JimmyD

Its important to give it a dryrun on the forums with limited number of people before the big Launch we have on Tuesday. As you will appreciate on Tuesday/Wed we will have a big PR initiative that will get us many (i do mean MANY) users. Our friendly forum users, who know what they are expecting are a great way to let us know if we have any problems before the big launch.

Not all Melih"s fault. I was the first one to say it on wilders forum which probably counts for half the people who have downloaded so far. When he said shhh i did"nt think he actually meant it.

Sorry Melih  Sad

Don't worry about this guys.. its all part of the plan Smiley
there is a huge difference between releasing into the forums and the world. Give our marketing engine a credit will you Smiley when we release it to the world on tuesday, there will be tens of thousands downloading it.. now its in low hundreds which is a great test bed. So.. everything is going good and thank you for everyone's help.
