Code Signing Certificate for Individuals

Good evening,

Do you issue Code Signing certificates to individuals who want to sign widely used software developed by themselves?  Your website seems to imply that these certificates are only available to companies.

I ask on behalf of a colleague who wishes not to fall foul of the Vista UAC problem with future versions of an application which is pretty widely distributed.  I do not want to give the name of the application here, although it is very well-known, but I would appreciate an indication of whether you would consider issuing certificate to the author as an individual - subject to indentity checks of course.
