If you have an application that was causing or having conflicts with CFPv3, and have figured out a method to avoid those conflicts by changes to Firewall or Defense + rules or settings, please post those specific details here for the benefit of other users.

Windows XP\Sp2 32bit

1)Go on Tab Defense>Predefined Security Policies>add---->give a name for this new rule, then click on Access Rights.
2)Now put the point selection on allow for the following voices:

-Protected COM Interfaces
-Computer Monitor
-Keyboard

...if the game is a multiplayer or a game on line add this two too:

-Loopback Networking
-DNS Client Service

...save with apply.

3)Now at the start of games at the popup go to Treat this application as and select the your one...end.

Today I notice this:

Comodo firewall with NOD32.
There was from NOD32 side, a problem that eat cpu memory.
NOD32 trys to read the log file of comodo, comodo lock and unlock it very offen in one second.
And NOD32 -I do not know why- not let it go, and try to read it again and again.

I add an exclude for this directory
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\APPLICATION DATA\COMODO\

on NOD32 and now all is ok.

To find this problem I use the process explorer, from sysinternals
I see that the driver of NOD32 eat the cpu, then I see on nod32 the file that try to open
then I run the file monitor and find this file on my hard disk...
